: : FINANCIAL DETAILS : :

We recognize that the majority of students graduating from high school aren't made of money ( and neither are their parents ). With this in mind, we strive to keep your tuition and costs to a minimum so that your decision to come to our program is not ultimately based on your financial situation, but rather on where God is calling you to be for this next stage of your life

Tuition:

The total cost of the basic program is $5,500 dollars per year. The S.A.G.U. program is $6,500, due to the college level accredited courses. Financial Aid may be available for S.A.G.U. You can apply here and enter this school code: 003616. This basic program cost covers books, housing, food, weekly gas allowance, cost for tours and evangelism trips, one in–country mission trip, and two MCSM shirts. A $500 dollar payment must be sent upon acceptance of your application and received by July 31st so that plans can be made to order course work and books. The remaining balance of the tuition is due upon arrival on August 27th. If you are unable to make the full payment on these dates, a payment plan may be available. Please contact MCSM immediately to discuss options. Out of country mission trips are not included in tuition costs, but fundraising opportunities will be provided.

Supplementary Cost:

Out of country missions trips are not included in the tuition costs, but fundraising opportunities will be provided as necessary. It is also recommended that each student have $50 – $75 a month available to cover the cost of personal items (like toothpaste, deodorant, make–up, etc.), and other necessities.

Fundraising Opportunities:

Occasional jobs may be available, through the church, to help with tuition or personal needs. These are limited in number and available hours, and are built around the school schedule. Students will also be provided with “support letters” which they can use to raise funds and support from their home church or family. It is recommended that students have no debt, and have worked out car and insurance payments before the beginning of the program.

Scholarship Opportunities:

All scholarship applications must be returned by July 15th, at the very latest. Scholarships ranging from $250 – $1,000 will be awarded for each scholarship category; therefore it is recommended that interested students apply for as many scholarships as they qualify. A Scholarship Board of appointed officials from the church will award the scholarships and the recipients will be notified on July 28th. All applicants agree to accept the decision of the Scholarship Board as final. Furthermore, the awards will not be renewable year–to–year, but students will have the opportunity to re–apply each year. Also, the sum of the scholarships received by a student will be deducted from the cost of tuition, and will not be awarded to any student withdrawing from the program.
